It is not necessary that you should write only 500 words post, you can write a post with your own word length i.e. from 50 words to 5000 words and more. The concept behind the 500 words minimum is that the more your write, the more information your visitors will get. And if your users are happy then you are happy. Also there is one concept about search engine. If you will write a short post then there is more chance that your article will match with billions of articles which are already published and if you will write a thousands words long post then there is no-chance to get matched with any other article out there. 2. Use Keywords and Maintain Its Density

 

I already said that keywords are magical words which grabs organic traffic. Using keywords is always being a very sensitive thing because if you use it below the mark then it is totally waste of time and if you exceed the limit then you will get a very bad response from search engines. There are plenty of tools which can help you to discover your desired keywords but the most popular and also free one is “Keyword Planner”. You can use this tool to grab your keywords but what about using them in your article. You should always keep in mind that your keyword density should not exceed the 2% of total length of article. Means if your article is 500 words long then you can use only 10 keywords max. So we have a very limited space for keyword so choose those type of keywords which have high search rate and low competition. This is the basic mantra of keywords in blogging.

Many peoples thinks that URL doesn't plays any role in overall SEO of a website/blog and they are totally wrong. URLs are shown in search results and majority of visitors decide which link they have to click by just looking into URL and description of the link. Using Google Adword’s Keyword Planner is best because it provides the exact and accurate result. It is recommended to use a strong keyword in the URL of your post. You can also use a long tail keyword but make sure that your URL not stretch too much. If your page contains some specific terms then don’t forget to mention that in your URL.

Make Your URL Static

Static URL means your URL should not use too much symbols and make it easily readable. Using lot of “?”, “123” and other symbols will make your URL harder to read. You can use “/” for distinguishing labels or  directory and “_”(Underscores) to separate words in your URL, they seems similar like a blank space.

Avoid 404

404 is a not found error. It generally occurs when you removed a content and visitor somewhere found you link and clicked on it. 404 error also harms your Search Rankings but using Google Webmaster Tools you can short out all your 404 error. You can use 301 redirection to overcome this 404 Not Found Error Penalty.

Use 301 Redirection

301 Redirection is a permanent which passes approx. 99% of ranking power to the redirected page. It is the best method to redirect your visitors form old blog to new blog. It not only sends visitors but also gives the ranking of your old page to the new redirected page.

1. Recommended Length Of The Meta

According to the recommendation, meta description should contains at most 160 characters. You can make a longer description than 160 character but your rest of characters will truncated. 5 characters -- 70 characters

Title Length Limit is very essential to keep in mind while writing article because if you will cross the limit of 70 characters, you rest of title will converted into “…” . You Must have seen while searching around web that some of the results contains “…” at the end of the title in blue colour.
Demerits of keeping title longer than 70 character
There is no penalty on keeping title length more than 70 character, You will not loose anything by keeping your title length more than 70. Just your rest of the title will not appear in search result page and hence if you have any keyword in the last portion of title then it will not be counted.
What is safe title length
Safe title length is between 5 to 70 character because if you will insert any keyword in between these title length then it can make you appear on SERP(Search Engine Result Page).

2. Page Title First Then Blog Title

As mentioned above, Title plays a major role in SEO. Thus using it properly can directly affect your overall SEO. We are talking about Page Title and Site Title.Site/Blog Title will remain same in all condition so there is no means of placing blog title first. Placing Page Title first will weight more than the Site Title first. For Example if you have a post Namely “This Is An Example Post Title” and your blog title is “Test Blog Title” then if you are using your blog title at first position and post title at second position then it will look something like this “Test Blog Title | This Is An Example Post Title”. And let me tell you one thing that no one will search with your blog name. Therefore you should use Post Title First to improve your SEO.

3. Use Keyword With High Search And Low Competition In Title

Using keyword is as important as breathing. Like you can not survive without breathing, Your blog can not survive in search engine without Keywords. There are many tools which can be sued in keyword research like Google AdWords, LongTailPro and many others. As keywords are very effective and important also but still you will need to use it very carefully because if you will insert too much keywords in your title and article also then you’re going to be slapped by Google.
There are few strategies which will make you feel bolder in using keywords. Here they are:-

1. Using most strong keyword as the first word of your title will skyrocket your possibilities to come in 1st page of SERP.
2. You have only 70 characters for title so use most strong keyword.

4. Avoid Using Stop Words In Title

“The”, ”A”, ”Can” are some example of stop words which you should stop using in your page title. Because as i expressed above that title should not exceed 70 character and stop words it eat up the space where you can place a keywords. These adjectives are not counted as keywords by any search engine on web. Using too much these stop words will don’t let you go high. My recommendation is to use these stop words only where they are mostly required. Here i am giving an example, how you can remove stop words from page title.

Here i tried to remove stop words only. Don’t remember is it exactly Lumia 535. BTW this is how you can try to minimize the use of stop words.

5. Keep It Simple, Unique and Short

Keeping title simple and unique will attract creative minds to read your article and will also increase your conversion rate. A short but to the point title can gives you high no of traffic through search engine and let you be visible in SERP.

6. Avoid Keyword Spamming

Google, Bing, Yahoo and other search engine strictly hates spamming and spammers too. They also don’t want the rules violators to be in their market. Google even said that they can close your account any time they found you disobeying their rules. They can kill your blog within some days. 1. Blogger Post URL

    Posts URLs Optimization are great way to get Search Engine listings. You can rank high in search engine if you have some keywords in your title and post URL too. Try to maintain 50-70 words max for your post URL including some of the best keywords related to article.

2. Labels and Tags

  Labels are just for the convenient of people to browse posts from specific category. As Labels are Not Indexed by search engine but you can change your robots.txt to index them. You are free to keep your post in specific category but if you will not do it properly then your readers may face problems browsing your blog and they will bounce to another blog, which is not good for your blog. 4. Keyword Density
